Hello
My name is Zichxyna, and I would love to support you on your movement journey. With a background in sport and teaching, I combine experience, empathy, creativity and an ever-growing knowledge of strength and stability to create a truly personalized approach. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported and confident as you rebuild your body in a way that feels sustainable and strong.
My Story
My name is Zichxyna, and I’ve been there more times than most people would believe. I was the high-performing sports kid whose world fell apart when I was told I needed a shoulder reconstruction at 17. Being so young and being sick of seeing physios and specialists years after years, I decided to not get the surgery and walk away from my dreams and focus on my other passions which was music. But I always felt disappointed in myself and that I was ‘giving up’ and disappointed those around me.
Then came the hip pain, back pain, constant shoulder issues, chronic fatigue, dizzy spells, exercise intolerance, and random injuries that didn’t make sense. Doctors couldn’t find much and being young and ‘fit’ didn’t make sense, and it got to the point where it started affecting my lifestyle and confidence and my job of being a music teacher. I kept trying to “restart” fitness like everyone says to do… but it always seemed to trigger another cycle of flare-ups.
At the same time, I was watching my mum slowly lose her strength and mobility too. Seeing her struggle with things that used to be easy was honestly one of the biggest wake-up calls for me. It made me realise how quickly life can shrink when your body stops feeling reliable. Overcoming my issues and helping her was one of the first reasons I started diving deeper into mobility and strength training properly, not just to “exercise to lose weight”, but to actually build a body that can handle what ever life throws are you.
Eventually I realised the missing piece wasn’t more stretching or more willpower or structure I had to learn how how to build strength and stability properly and treating your body with a more holistic approach. That’s when I started to understand that a lot of my issues were linked to hypermobility/HSD. Being bendy sounds like a good thing. until you realise it’s not just your joints, it can affect your whole body, and it can genuinely feel like you’re slowly falling apart. The irony is, both hypermobile and stiff, tight and sore bodies need similar stimulation and training!
Now I coach those who feel like their body is unpredictable, painful, exhausted, but want to change. My goal is to help you rebuild strength, stability, mobility and confidence in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and actually supportive of your nervous system. I avoid the “go hard or go home = burn out” approach that makes things worse after your 30+, my motto is “Movement is a journey" and we’re rebuilding from the ground up,
If you’re ready for a different approach, reach out and let’s chat.
Are we a good fit?
Trying to find the motivation to start can feel impossible when one day you feel strong and capable, and the next day getting off the couch or walking up the stairs feels exhausting. It’s frustrating, confusing, and over time it can really affect your confidence.
The usual advice of “just exercise and eat better” often leaves you feeling even more lost when your body is not responding the way you expected.
And then there’s the gym? It can feel overwhelming trying to figure out what to do, worrying about doing exercises wrong, or getting stuck repeating the same routine over and over. So you search online for answers, try random programs, push hard for a few weeks, then end up sore, burnt out, and right back where you started. Motivation starts fading because the progress and confidence you were chasing never really lasts.
Maybe you’ve tried personal training, group classes, boot camps, or programs that promised results but just were not the right fit for your body or lifestyle. Maybe now you’re dealing with constant tightness, aches, or pain in your back, shoulders, hips, knees, or neck and starting to think it’s “just getting older.”
Re-framing what’s important to you, recognizing how far you’ve already come can still go, and building consistency in a way that works for your body creates a healthier and more holistic approach to training. When training starts supporting your lifestyle instead of fighting against it, motivation stops becoming the issue.
If this sounds like you, I’d love to help you start a movement journey that finally makes sense for your body and your life.
